Tuition Assistance
At Sonoma Country Day School, we are committed to making an incredible education accessible to all students regardless of their financial circumstances. Well over 30% of our student body receives tuition assistance, which is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need.
Applications for tuition assistance are available through the FAST (Tuition Assistance) link below. Applications for Tuition Assistance must be submitted concurrently with an application for admission to the school. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our Business Office at 707.284.3250. We are happy to assist you.
Tuition assistance awards are based on need and take your family's income, assets, and debts into consideration. After you complete the online FAST application, the information will be forwarded to the SCDS Business Office. SCDS safeguards the confidentiality of all financial information provided to us and our evaluation service. Your information will not be disclosed to any other person without your written authorization.

Tuition Payment Plans
In order to complete the enrollment process once accepted to the school, families new to SCDS submit a deposit (10% of annual tuition) along with their signed enrollment agreement in order to secure their child's seat. At this time, families also select a tuition payment plan, choosing between a lump sum or monthly payments. Tuition is billed through SMART Tuition, the school's student billing system.
Tuition Refund Plan
SCDS offers its families a tuition refund plan that protects their financial commitment against loss due to absence, dismissal, or withdrawal. The tuition refund plan is made available to parents with the enrollment agreement. Please contact the Business Office for further information. Families choosing the ten-installment tuition payment plan must the purchase tuition refund plan.
