Magnus Health and Your Child

For the 2011-12 school year, we will be shifting all student medical information to an online database. There are many benefits to this change including less paperwork for parents to complete each year, to more accurate information that is accessible to both the parents and the appropriate staff at our school. Our school is taking a large step toward an efficient, green, and secure way of collecting and managing student health information. In using Magnus Health SMR, we are joining over 500 colleges, universities, and K-12 institutions in utilizing this product.

As this is a web-based system, you will have continuous access to your children's health record as well as the ability to make updates when needed. You will also have the option to take this electronic file with you after your children graduate from our school.

You will receive an email in the next few weeks providing instructions on how to access your children’s Magnus Health SMR record. Then, you will fill out and submit all of the requested information. In future years, you will simply return to Magnus Health and update any new information. This is an exciting tool that will increase security in collecting and maintaining this information, as well as provide secure access to your children’s information in the event of an emergency.
